Welcome to the vendor’s spotlight blog series. I’m excited to introduce you to this first issue featuring The Blue Daisy Floral Designs!
I met Stephanie (the kind human behind TBDFD) a few years ago through the wedding industry. I’ve enjoyed working together so much but, my favorite is to have brunch with lots of mimosas with her!!
Stephanie is kind, supportive, and oh so fun!! She’s a morning person who loves coffee and sometimes tea; she likes both sweet & salty treats, and is a beer & cocktail kind of gal!
I hope you get to see/feel a bit of her awesome personality through this feature, and that (if you haven’t) get to work with her as her flower arrangements are heavenly!!
What moves you/brings you joy? When my little girls are laughing and playing together and handing a bride her bouquet on her wedding day!
Describe your personality in a few words: Loud, outgoing, honest, encouraging.
Share a bit about your business: The Blue Daisy Floral Designs- we create floral magic for weddings and events AND for everyday! We do this by listening to our clients, educating them, and caring about each one of them.
What’s your favorite thing about what you do? Spreading joy with flowers!
Share one AHA! moment or favorite experience: Oh my! 10 years and a lot of all of these. I’ll never forget being able to deliver flowers to a father and son who just lost their wife/mother from cancer during the pandemic. The woman who sent them was from out of state and the woman who died was her best friend. I was able to deliver the flowers on short notice. To me, I was just doing what we do. But the sender was so touched and thankful for our service and communication. She sent several emails expressing her gratitude and how much the flowers and service meant to her and the recipients. It really drove home just how big of a difference kindness can make.
Who do you love working with? Clients who value excellent design, craftsmanship, and service. Our clients love to entertain and to be entertained. Details are important. Our clients often describe their style as “preppy” or “classic” but no matter what their style is, it is well-curated.
