Congratulations! you’re engaged and now you have to take so many decisions to create the “perfect wedding”!
Sounds about right huh? I was a bride too and I have to say I had so much fun planning our wedding that I would love to have another one, and that’s exactly what inspired me to share this series of “FOR THE BRIDE TO BE” posts with you, because I really believe every “bride to be” should enjoy all the little things that are part of becoming a bride.
When Chris proposed to me I had a million wedding ideas passing through my head, I wanted to get married at the beach, but then I wanted to get married at the mountain; I wanted tropical flowers, but then I didn’t, and so on. Does this sound familiar to you?
It is okay to not know what you want right away and sometimes all you need is to really enjoy “being engaged” and take it all in before starting to make decisions!
Planning a wedding is not an easy task, but it can be fun if you have the right attitude and learn to find joy in the little things, like knowing not everything is going to be exactly as you planned it but that it will be perfect anyway because at the end the things that went “wrong” can become great stories.
We had a wonderful wedding, surrounded by family and friends, we danced until 7am -yes, you read that right, the sun was out-, we enjoyed every minute of that day and five years later our hearts still burst with joy every time we remember all the adventures we went through until we said “I do” and how “perfect” our wedding was!
From picking a dress to wearing it, I’ll be sharing stories and tips of how you can find joy along the way so when you look back you’ll have a bunch of great stories to tell.
If you’re a happy bride to be you’ll be a happier bride, and a happy bride always looks gorgeous!
If we haven’t met yet (or even if we have) and you’re curious about me, I invite you to read this post!
Thanks for stopping by and happy planning!
Thinking where to start? How about wedding venues!
